Emily Johnson Photography | Jacqueline

I feel honored and thankful that I have been am invited into some of the most precious times of people’s lives over the past 12 years. Looking through my lens and capturing the emotion of the moment is a thrill and a gift. I adore capturing the intimacy and sentiment of the wedding day and the unique relationships between the couple and their loved ones. My goal is to create an environment where my couples can feel free to express themselves. I want my couples to see the emotion from the people closest to them reflected in their photographs. I also love to capture the couple’s vision for the day and what they are trying to communicate about who they are as a couple. My favorite way of accomplishing this is by capturing all of their details because the atmosphere they create for their celebration says a lot of about them.

My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we have two children that are the bright spot in our life. Outside of photography I love to create art by recycling and restoring vintage materials, I love to listen to audiobooks, and meet for coffee with friends. I adore traveling, adventures and meeting new people. I spent a summer in Kenya and went to college in England at Capernwray Bible School. I’ve been to France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Ireland and Mexico. I believe strongly in helping people in need and I like to find creative ways to tell the story of those people around the world.
